Blue Stars are... Bold . Fair . Have Integrity . Believe in Balance of Powers : Democracy, Community, Living Life with Passion . People who stand up for what they believe in ; and they believe in the Constitution of the United States . or they simply believe in helping people . and they believe in Expressing Themselves; and helping us find our own voice. They believe we are connected to one another and should reach out more. They have a balance of pride and humility. They are teachers and they are always ready to learn. Here are a few "Blue Stars in Hawaii, in California, and in our nation. This list is by no means complete. As I learn of others and I will add them. The first three mentioned: Colleen Hanabusa, Barack Obama, and Brian Schatz are all people of dedication, good heart, who are doing amazing things in politics and have huge futures ahead of them in my opinion. I am planning to join the Draft Barack Obama Committee to run for President of the United States in 2008. Right now I'm reading his book.
