MLS 185065 Kihalani Homesteads near Laupahoehoe Built 1994 Half Acre+ 3Bed/2Bath
I have not seen this property personally yet, but it looks awesome on the MLS with Ocean and
Mountain Views, vaulted ceilings. Laupahoehoe has an interesting mix of 'old-timers' and new folks from the mainland who cherish this place and the small town atmosphere. The home is
listed showing 1,240 square foot living area with a price of $529,000. Listed by another brokerage house. May I help you see this beautiful home?
MLS 178705 !!OCEAN FRONT!! Near Laupahoehoe on the Hamakua Coast Built 1951 Lot is
17,864 sq foot with a 3Bedroom/2 Bathroom home. Revive this old Plantation Home with this awesome view or start over... Ocean Front properties are like hens teeth on the Big Island. This one is located near wonderful Laupahoehoe town. See description above. Property is listed by another brokerage at $625,000. Let's go check this out together!
MLS 184148 "OLD JODO MISSION at Laupahoehoe Point" Built in 1899 Lot is 30,710sq ft.
3Bedroom/2Bathroom with 3,072 sq ft living space. Absolutely awesome and elegant antique with 12' ceilings, an ocean view, and a very good vibe. I don't know what it is exactly, but this place just makes me feel wonderful when I walk around. I'm proud of the love and care the current owners have put into restoring this building. It's expensive; true. But there is really nothing like it. I think this would make an amazing retreat center, spiritual center or gathering spot. The ocean is walking distance away and the property has avacado, starfruit, lemon, orange, lychee, pinapple and cocoa. If you've always dreamt of owning this type of place--here it is! Again, this is listed by another brokerage house (darn it), but I would be very proud to represent you in considering it for purchase! Listed at $1,300,000...
MLS 184589 Retreat Property above Laupahoehoe Built in 1990 The lot is 13.84 Acres bordering a stream with a big Waterfall and awesome Ocean & Mountain Views. Huge living area of 4,160sq ft shows only officially 1Bedroom/1Bathroom. This place is a bit different. The main house is shaped like a huge, beaufitul barn with plenty of space for a ho-down on the first floor. The owners reside upstairs in the other huge space. Very open and hard to describe. If you are into the unusual and need room to move or store big projects, this might be just the spot. I like the little open-air cottage down by the waterfall. This could be the beginnings of a great Retreat Center, I think.... Listed at $1,484,000. I would be interested in how this other brokerage came up with that exact figure. If you're curious, I would be happy to help you check it out!
Our Hamakua Coast is generally a little pricey, because it is incredible. Brilliant blue ocean views are found all over the place, because the rolling farmland topography spills towards the sea cliffs. The tall grasses and old cane fields offer up a range of greens, glistening to gold in the late afternoon sunshine. The place has a bad rap as rainy. That's only half true, in my opinion. During the daytime I believe it is sunny more than it rains--almost all year. The people here are authentic. Sensative to nature generally, and tend to believe in raising children to value work, the family and farming. It's kamaina, old-style, precious Hawaii.
